JILIPARK Fishing Games Guide: Mega Fishing Bullet Cost & Boss Odds
In JILI Mega Fishing and Jackpot Fishing at JILIPARK, every bullet is a separate Random Number Generator (RNG) roll with a 96.5% to 97.0% RTP. Boss fish do not weaken over time, so keeping your cannon small enough to hold 400 bullets protects your GCash balance.
Mega Fishing room tiers and Peso bullet budgets
Because a turret fires 3 to 4 shots per second when you hold your finger on the screen, picking the wrong room can drain a ₱500 GCash load in under a minute. Always pick a cannon size that gives you at least 400 to 500 bullets:
| Mega Fishing Room | Bullet Price Range | 6x Torpedo Cost | Minimum Safe Balance (400 Shots) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Newbie Room | ₱0.10 to ₱10.00 | ₱0.60 to ₱60.00 | ₱200 (at ₱0.50/shot) |
| Joy Room | ₱1.00 to ₱50.00 | ₱6.00 to ₱300.00 | ₱800 (at ₱2.00/shot) |
| Honor Room | ₱10.00 to ₱100.00 | ₱60.00 to ₱600.00 | ₱4,000+ (at ₱10.00/shot) |
How catch odds work on Small Fish vs. Bosses
Every fish swimming across your screen is basically a moving slot reel. Its catch chance is tied directly to its payout multiplier:
- Small School Fish (2x to 5x payout): Roughly 1 in 2.1 to 1 in 5.2 bullets catches them. Shooting small and medium fish keeps your bullet count steady.
- Special Bomb Crabs & Drills (20x to 80x): Around 1 in 21 to 1 in 83 bullets catches them, setting off chain explosions across nearby fish.
- Mega Octopus & Crocodile Bosses (100x to 950x): Less than 1% per normal bullet. Only fire at bosses in short bursts of 10 to 15 shots using Lock-On mode so missed bullets do not hit the wall.
Why Auto-Fire and 6x Torpedoes drain wallets fast
Turning on the 6x Torpedo boosts your catch rate, but it multiplies your bullet price by six on every single tap. At a ₱5 base cannon, each Torpedo costs ₱30. Keep Torpedoes turned off during normal play, and never leave Auto-Fire running when a crowded screen of high-multiplier bosses swims in front of your turret.
Using the free Thunderbolt bar and special crabs wisely
Instead of paying extra pesos for Torpedoes, focus on the built-in weapon gauges and chain-reaction targets that pay out at your standard bullet price:
- Charging the Free Thunderbolt Meter: Every normal bullet you fire in Mega Fishing adds energy to the yellow Thunderbolt bar next to your turret. Once the bar reaches 100%, you get a free area-of-effect lightning blast. Important rule: the Thunderbolt payout scales to the average bullet size you used while filling the meter, so switching from a ₱0.50 cannon to a ₱50 cannon on the very last shot will not trick the machine into paying a 50-peso lightning prize.
- Targeting Drill Crabs and Wheel Crabs: Medium-tier utility creatures (20x to 80x) give you the best balance between catch frequency and screen clearing. When you catch a Drill Crab, its rocket bounces across the screen and hits dozens of small and medium fish for free before exploding.
- Mega Fishing vs. Jackpot Fishing: If you prefer steady multiplier wheels (like the Mega Octopus up to 950x), stick to Mega Fishing. If you want a shot at the shared three-tier progressive prize pool (JILI, Lucky, and Speed Jackpots), switch to Jackpot Fishing, though keep in mind that roughly 0.5% to 1.0% of each bullet's return goes toward feeding those progressive jackpot pools.
- Preventing Wasted Edge Shots: When a boss fish or Golden Toad is already 80% across the map and about to swim off the edge of your phone screen, stop shooting immediately. Even though Lock-On mode curves your bullets toward the target, you will only get 3 or 4 shots in before the creature disappears, wasting ammunition without a realistic chance of triggering the catch roll.
